★First of all, how was Japan after a long time though it thought this Japanese tour to be after a long time?
★まずは、今回の日本ツアーは久しぶりだったと思いますが、久しぶりの日本はいかがでしたか？
Yes It was a 2 year gap since I was last in Japan to play. It was great I really enjoyed it. Japan is one of the best countries in the world for a DJ to play. The people are amazing and have a lot of love to give. The clubs and sound systems are among the best in the world. I always look forward to coming to Japan.
It is nice to leave some time between visits also. It keeps it exciting and fresh.
最後に、私が日本でプレーしてから、2年間ぶりです。 今回の来日は本当に楽しみだった。 日本は世界一、良いDJをすることができる国の1つです。 日本人は、すばらしい人々で、与える多くの愛を持っています。 そして、クラブとサウンドシステムは、世界の中でも最高です。 いつも日本に来るのを楽しみにしています。また、訪問の間にいくつかの時間を残していいです。 おもしろく新鮮です。
★You visit Japan three times in Japan , but , what kind of impression is there in Japan.
★日本に何度も来日していますが、何度目で、日本にはどのような印象がありますか？
I have actually been to Japan 7 or 8 times now. I first came to Japan in 2002 to play Electraglide.
It’s been amazing everytime. I really enjoy my time in Japan. I have been lucky enough to get to see some of the other cities like Sapporo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya. Japanese culture is very different to western culture.Japanese people have a lot of pride and humility which I like a lot.
私は今、実際に日本に7回か8回行ったことがあります。 私は、2002年に初めて、「Electraglide」をプレーしに日本に来ました。それは本当にすばらしい出来事でした。 私は、本当に日本での時間を楽しんでいます。 私は札幌、京都、大阪、名古屋のように他の都市のいくつかも見ることができて、幸運です。 日本文化は、西洋文化とで非常に異なっています。日本人は私が大好きなプライドと謙虚さを持っている人々です。
★Does the impression that came to Sapporo : though it is thought that it is a similar climate to Sapporo though you live in London now?
★現在、あなたはロンドンに住んでいますが、札幌と同じような気候だと思うのですが、札幌へ来てみた印象は？
Yes Sapporo was cold but not as cold as I thought it would be. In London it was actually colder than Sapporo when I returned home.
はい、札幌は、寒かったが思っていたほどではなかった。実際にはロンドンに私が帰って来たとき、札幌以上に寒かった（笑。
★Wonderful DJ was announced in this GROOOVE. What tune does you produce recently, and is release done though the music production is done besides DJ?
★今回のGROOOVEではすばらしいDJを披露していただきました。DJ以外にも楽曲制作も行っていますが、最近ではどのような曲を制作し、リリースはされていますか？

★It ..'.. away from music though it seemed not to be acted since the second album of 06 years?
★‘06年のセカンドアルバム以降、活動されていないように思われますが、音楽を離れていたのですか？
I have had releases out but more slower release schedule. I toured and recorded a lot from 2000 til 2007
and felt I needed to have a rest and slow down a little bit.I was getting tired and needed a break. I now am inspired again to get new music out.Stay tuned ☺
私はすでにリリースされたものを除く、よりゆっくりとしたリリース予定があります。私は2000年から2007年まで多くのツアーとレコードのリリースをしていました、だから、休暇と少しゆっくりとする必要があると感じたんだ。

★The dance music changed while the technology evolved, and it was it with the times to do DJ with a CD and a PC from a records, and it was it with the times to make music with a PC. How do you think about the current scene and a future change since you began it?
★テクノロジーが進化していく中で、ダンスミュージックも変化し、レコードからCD、そしてパソコンでDJをする時代となり、パソコンで音楽を作る時代となりました。あなたが始めた頃から、現在のシーン、そして今後の変化についてどう思いますか？
Everything changes in life nothing stands still. I still buy vinyl and still release my music on vinyl. I have tried traktor and cds and vinyl.
I still prefer vinyl but it is easier to play from traktor. We have to be careful though I think the sound of laptops and mp3’s are not as good as vinyl. We are losing the analogue. This is very dangerous.
I have all analogue equipment in my studio and love the sound. Records made with just computers do not sound very human to me. There is something missing.
人生において、すべてが変化している、だけどまだ何も始まっちゃいない。私はまだ、レコードを購入し、まだレコードに私の音楽をリリースしています。私はTraktor※1とCDとレコードでプレイしようとしている。私はまだレコードを好むが、Traktorの方が簡単です。もっともラップトップやmp3の音がレコードほどよくないと思っているが、私たちは慎重にしなければならない。我々は、アナログを失っている。これは非常に危険です。私は自分のスタジオ内にあるものを、すべてのアナログ機材にしており、その音が大好きです。コンピュータだけで作られたレコードは、私にとって非常に人間的な音ではない。そう、何かが欠けているんだよ。

★I think that you have various plans, but please teach it about future activity.

I will be releasing a lot more music this year and will have an E.P out later in the year on Skint.
Also I will be releasing some music with friends on my new project called GET HUMAN.http://www.gethuman.info/
The first relase is with my good friend and up and coming producer Mat Playford. Mat has put out some great records and is starting to make a name for himself.

Grooove was great, Darren and I had a really great time. Everybody took care of ius very well and the people at the gig were great. The visuals were some of the best I have seen in a club for a long time.
